Terms of Use

Kobah is a tool for tracking what you own across currencies. It is not financial advice. The numbers you see depend on what you typed in and on third-party price data that may be wrong or stale. Use it to think, not to trade. Don't try to break the service or use it to defraud anyone, and we'll get along fine.

By creating an account or using Kobah, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update these terms; we'll tell you about material changes by email before they take effect.

Kobah is a personal portfolio tracker. You manually enter your holdings; we store them, fetch publicly available prices (stocks/ETFs from licensed market-data providers; crypto and precious metals from Chainlink on-chain price feeds), convert across currencies using European Central Bank exchange rates published via the Frankfurter API, and present a net-worth view. We do not connect to your bank, broker, or wallet.

Kobah is not a financial advisor, a broker, a tax advisor, or an investment manager. Nothing in the app, including any number, chart, suggestion, or piece of copy, is investment advice. Talk to a licensed professional before making investment, tax, or estate decisions. Prices shown are sourced from third-party providers — Marketstack for stocks and ETFs, Chainlink decentralized price feeds for crypto and precious metals, and the Frankfurter API for FX rates — and may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. The supported crypto and metal list is curated to assets covered by Chainlink price feeds, so some long-tail coins are not trackable. Numbers in Kobah are for personal tracking only — they are not statements, audit records, or anything you should hand to your accountant without verification.

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. Don't share your account. If you suspect someone else is using it, sign out everywhere from Settings and email us. You must be at least 16 years old to use Kobah.

While Kobah is free, the free tier is currently capped at 15 active non-cash positions. Cash accounts are unlimited. Limits may change as we introduce paid tiers; existing free-tier limits will not get tighter without notice.

We don't claim ownership of anything you put into Kobah. You can export your data at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account, which permanently erases your data subject to the retention windows in the Privacy Policy.

Don't use Kobah to:

• Break the law, defraud anyone, or launder money.
• Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or run automated traffic against it beyond normal app use.
• Attack the service's availability or security, or use it to attack anyone else's.
• Resell, sublicense, or pretend to be Kobah.

Kobah uses Google for optional sign-in, Resend for sign-in code delivery, and price providers as listed above. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms — we can't control them and we're not responsible for their availability or behaviour.

Asset icons (cryptocurrencies and tokens) are sourced from the Trust Wallet assets repository, made available under the MIT License. Asset names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners; their use within Kobah is for identification only and does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

We aim to keep Kobah running, but we don't guarantee any specific uptime. We may take the service down for maintenance, scaling, or because something broke. We'll communicate planned downtime when we can.

Kobah is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of price data, or non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kobah and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service. Direct damages, if any, are capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid Kobah in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50. None of this excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, fraud or gross negligence in jurisdictions where exclusion is prohibited).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kobah and its operator from any third-party claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right. Nothing in this section limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You can stop using Kobah and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. For non-urgent terminations we'll give you at least 14 days' notice and a chance to export your data; for serious violations (fraud, abuse, security threats) we may terminate immediately. On termination, your data is handled per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the UAE, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The unenforceable provision will be replaced by an enforceable one that comes closest to the original intent.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Kobah regarding the service and supersede any prior representations or understandings.

We may update these terms. For material changes, we'll email you before the change takes effect; you can close your account if you disagree. Continued use after changes go live means you accept the new version.
